*** Mini Olympic Break - Clinics and Schedule Update ***

There will be no Mini Clinics or Games from February 12th to February 28th 2010. Resuming March 5th 2010.

This will allow our young athletes an opportunity to celebrate the Olympics.

There will be lots to do in Whalley area, check out Holland Park.

Enjoy this once in a lifetime event!

The tournament was a huge success !

There were many exciting games including the 2 final boys games

U12 Bronze and U12 gold games went into sudden death overtime to determine the winners.

Whalley Soccer Club would like to acknowledge all the teams, volunteers and tournament coordinators -Thanks for making this so successful.

We are pleased to let you know that Team and Goalie professional clinics are back for now

We hope to be able to continue them till the end of the season.

Goalie Clinics - Fridays (Tom Binnie Turf on West Side of Field in the 18 Yard Area)

U9 - U12 6:00 - 7:00

Thank you to all those who attended, donated and organized.

It was fun and a big success.

We raised over $2000 for the club which will be a big help in keeping the club running smoothly.

A special thanks to the Jolly Mac’s Pub (148^th & 108^th) for hosting the fundraiser.

Whalley Soccer Club is a community minded soccer club in the heart of Whalley. For 45 years we have provided soccer programs for local youth. We have boys and girls teams for U 7 (under 7 years old) to U 18 at all skill levels. We are proud of all our teams’ accomplishments including a 4th place finish by our U 16 Metro team at the 2007 nationals..

The benefits for playing with Whalley Soccer Club are numerous. We promote teamwork, dedication, fair play and fun. Your fee includes a uniform, team photos, equipment and free development sessions with our professional coaches.

We want to thank all our volunteers for making our programs run efficiently and welcome assistance from any others who wish to help. Make friends, spend quality time with your children and set a positive example for local youth by volunteering with the Whalley Soccer Club

We are also proud to offer the new Whalley Soccer Mini Academy.
The mini academy will still be the basis of our program but all levels will include team formation and games from U7-U8 (alternating training/games 3v3/4v4), with possibility of training in the gym or turf (depends on club allocation of gyms or turf time) U9-U10(7v7) mid week training/ or early turf practice with sat grass games. As well coaches will also be receiving training so they may learn while the kids are!
